We use these measurements to help determine the final PPI for your high-res image.
Take a photo of the whole painting. When taking your photo be sure to stay centered on the entire painting. A good reference photo is important because it is used to match the cropped area, brightness, saturation, etc. when delivering your Zip.
Keeping your lens in the center of the artwork, slightly tilt the camera up to top left of the painting. Shoot your first detail photo, capturing the whole edge of the painting.
Take photos one after another, moving left to right in a backwards S pattern. Overlap your photos as you go along being sure to capture the edges.
The number of detail photos you need take depends on the dimensions of your art. The larger the piece the more detail shots you should take.
Check to make sure all your images are there and that they look good. Did you capture the edges of the artwork? Don’t worry if they are out of order.
